Mass Extinction No. 6 was produced using the stop-motion animation of plastic animal toys to represent disappearing species while suggesting the diorama science projects students create in grade school with *natural habitats* of construction *, tin foil and cardboard.The DIY video style was influenced by the lo-fi sound of the witty soundtrack, the song *Mass Extinction No. 6,* by the popular New York City roots-rock band Whisperado.
